National Sales Support 

 

This position is located at our sales office in Chicago, IL.

Support all sales and administrative tasks to ensure smooth day to day operation of the entire Company. 

 

Responsibilities and Duties

 

  • Assist Sales Office Manager (SOM) with Office Management
    1. Create opportunities to increase sales by driving the sales culture and emphasizing office development.
    2. Maintain office
    3. Observe behaviors and reinforce Keyence policies
    4. Kizuki mindset (improvement minded): create and implement enhancements around the office that will add value
    5. Make a concerted effort to connect with the office community
    6. Participate & present in Monday meeting
  • Tech Inbound Calls/Emails
    1. Route inbound calls from external customers seeking tech support.
    2. Manage the email inbox where customer’s submit requests for tech support
  • Conference/Event Planning
    1. Organize and facilitate min-exhibition events that showcases our various product lines onsite at a customer facility
    2. Plan and coordinate office yearly holiday party
    3. Organize office competition lunches
  • Market Research
    1. Use search engines or recommended sites to look up local company news that can add value to the sales office
  • Interdepartmental & Customer Service Support
    1. Work with other departments on projects/goals
    2. Occasionally assist with quote entry and orders
    3. Submit special pricing requests for approval
  • Data Management
    1. Use our internal systems to input customer and company data.
    2. Database clean up
  • Manage Queue System
    1. Receive and process requests from our internal customers
  • Projects/Goals
    1. ongoing projects to increase efficiency and add value
  • Potential travel to other Keyence offices to assist in National Sales Support duties

 

Requirements and Qualifications

 

  • Four-year college degree
  • Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, activities, and projects for timely completion
  • High degree of accuracy, focus, and flexibility.
  • Ability to work well in team-oriented environment
  • High degree of attention to details
  • Ability to establish and maintain pleasant interpersonal relationship
  • Ability to empathize with both internal and external customers and ensure that you’re not happy until they are
  • Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role
