The Repair Operations Assistant role is the administrative backbone of the repair department. Managing the daily repair requests, customer inquiries, communication with our sales team and other corporate departments is a pertinent demand of this position. Our repair team operates much like its own business inside of Keyence, and our repair operations team ensures that our entire department is running efficiently.  

 

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Enter and maintain accurate information and logs of repairs into a database.
  • Manage an email and phone queue systems.
  • Create repair authorizations, process purchase orders, assist sales force requests, and communicate with parent company in Japan.
  • Follow up with customers / sales for purchase orders.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Contribute to team quarterly and monthly goals.
  • Proactively identify areas to improve efficiency and initiate projects to achieve improvements.

 

Qualifications 

  • Communication – must have both excellent verbal and written skills to communicate ideas and technical information.
  • Attention to detail – customer facing processes require a high level of attention and detail.
  • Time management skills – must have the ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently
  • Analytical skills – must be able to “think outside of the box” to solve difficult problems
  • Computer skills – the daily use of computers in a previous job experience is needed for this position including Microsoft office programs and custom software applications.

 

Requirements

  • 4 year degree
  • Relevant experience preferred.
