Collections Specialist

🚀 Join KEYENCE as an Entry-Level Collections Specialist 

Location: Keyence U.S. Headquarters – Itasca, IL 
Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): $67,632 

As a Collections Specialist, you’ll play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow by resolving billing disputes and collecting past-due payments. You’ll collaborate across departments, communicate professionally with customers, and contribute to continuous process improvement. 

• Review invoices, purchase orders, and documentation to resolve billing issues 

• Make collection calls and send correspondence in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment 

• Reduce and maintain low levels of past-due accounts via phone and email 

• Collaborate with collection agencies and legal counsel as needed 

• Maintain accurate records and update databases 

• Communicate proactively with sales teams regarding problem orders and accounts 

• Identify and lead initiatives to improve credit operations 

• Support the Accounts Receivable Department with additional tasks 

🎓 Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting) 

• Proficiency in Excel and Windows-based applications 

• Strong knowledge of billing and collections procedures 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to build professional yet assertive relationships 

• Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and highly organized 

• Proactive approach to dispute resolution 

• Commitment to outstanding customer service

• Base Salary: $54,890 

• Bonus Target: $12,742 annually (performance-based), paid quarterly
