📍 Location: Keyence U.S. Headquarters – Itasca, IL

💰 Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): $62,522

As a Tax Specialist, you’ll be part of the Tax & Compliance Group in the Accounting Department, supporting KEYENCE’s continued growth and innovation. You’ll handle a variety of tax filings, support audits, and help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Prepare and file sales/use tax, property tax, and estimated tax returns
• Review sales/use tax exemption and resale certificates
• Process property tax return filings and maintain company property records
• Collect and organize unclaimed property data; submit due diligence letters and returns
• Process and pay tax invoices for property, business, and corporate taxes
• Assist with quarterly, preliminary, and fiscal year audits
• Support tax audits (Sales/Use, Property, Business taxes)
• Assist with VAT requirements and filings
• Review and update transfer price documents annually
• Enter accounting transactions (GL entries) in the accounting system
• Audit internal invoices and expense reports for GAAP and IRS compliance
• Maintain vendor profiles and W-9/W-8 documents for 1099 reporting
• Respond to inquiries and requests through the department queue

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
• 0–3 years’ experience in accounting or tax
• Experience with accounting software (preferred)
• Knowledge of GAAP and sales/use tax
