Human Resources Business Partner - Payroll & Benefits Analyst


The HR Payroll & Benefits Analyst (P&B analyst) plays an integral role in our Human Resources team. P&B analyst administers and establishes innovative regular pay process and benefits programs, which ultimately reinforces Keyence Philosophy. A successful candidate demonstrates strong attention to details, analytical skills, and the ability and willingness to align themselves to the business objectives of our company and Keyence Corporate Philosophy.

Principal duties and tasks


  • Accurately administer payroll process and benefits programs.
  • Manage transactional aspects of HR such as benefit administration, legal/compliance documentation, maintenance of internal systems and organizational infrastructure administration.
  • Ensure our payroll procedure and benefits program stay compliant with federal, state, and local municipality tax regulations and laws.
  • Collaborate with other, Human Resources team members on a daily basis to sustain and improve optimal HR operation including, but not limited to; on-boarding, performance management, talent development, employee relations, compensation, & HRIS.
  • Analyze trends, evaluate performance, and create solutions in order to review the relevancy and efficacy of current process, procedure and programs.
  • Continuously innovate and optimize our payroll process and benefits programs
  • Align actions and thought process with the Keyence Corporate Philosophy and the Company’s business objectives and directions.
  • Interface and build strong business partnership with internal departments and senior management.
  • Identify and promote changes across various business and HR functions to aid in eliminating business risk and innovating our organization
  • Facilitate and manage cross-functional HR Projects.


Preferred Qualifications


  • 1-5 years of end to end payroll administration, tax withholding compliance, and/or benefits administration experience
  • Experience in having transformed payroll operation to an optimum scale aligned with the rapid pace of Company growth 


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Human Resources or related field
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • Analytical skill to identify the underlying principles and motivations behind current processes and policies
  • Proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to establish and sustain positive interpersonal relationships with employees and management
  • Demonstrate time management and prioritization skills to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to accurately and thoroughly document, record, and maintain information and data
  • Integrity –the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Knowledge on the current employment laws and regulations
  • Project and Change Management Skills
  • Preferred experience with ADP Work Force Now Payroll and SuccessFactors Employee Central and Benefits
